Description:

•They eat reptiles, amphibians, birds, carrion, invertebrates and fruits. •They are often seen eating ticks from mammals, like capybaras, cows and even finding invertebrates in the fur of sloths. •They make a very loud sound while flying.

Habitat:

Savanna, swamps, forest edges, farms, cities -I saw these caracaras in Angra dos Reis (RJ, Brazil)
