Spined Soldier Bug Nymphs

Podisus maculiventris

Habitat:

Woodland habitat along canal.

Notes:

I found these gorgeous spined soldier bug nymphs today, and coincidently, I found this exact species in a very similar photograph one day shy of a year ago tomorrow! These are the only two times I have spotted this species. Very tiny, as the entire group of individuals and eggs are around a cm.

Thanks Marta and Stephanie! I'm glad that I got to see these again. They are so small, I can't believe I even spotted them. I didn't even have my glasses on Stephanie!
