Paper Wasps

Notes:

A few of these large yellow and brown paper wasps were busy about their hive. It was a very hot day and it appeared to me that one or two of them were fanning the nest by rapidly beating their wings. (See the center one in the first pic, and the one on the bottom edge on the last pic.)
