Iguana iguana
A bright juvenile green iguana spotted at Corcovado National Park, Costa Rica.
Costal rainforest
Spotted along the beach near la Leona station. Bright green, smallish (body about 15 cm), long striped tail, distinctive scales on cheeks and neck.
Unfortunately not, I was just another tourist there. I wish you good luck!
Wow.. You know after getting onto project Noah and seeing all the spectacular pictures has made me miss tropical field research. So much so that I'm actually considering applying for positions in the field again!
Were you working there?
Totally Elsa, Costa Rica would not disappoint you. Especially Corcovado, the location of this spotting: once called by National Geographic "the most biologically intense place on Earth"!
Thank you Rivu, Aaron and Jonathan for your help! I will edit accordingly.
Emma, yep, salsa verde!
