Congrats Karan for a very deserving SOTW!! Incredible pictures of Leopards!
Congratulations Karan Raghwa, your Indian leopards have been voted Spotting of the Week! This series was praised for showing a relaxed group of healthy animals seemingly unaware of the presence of the photographer. We loved to night time shots too!
"Photographed in the hills of Jawai in Rajasthan, India, this relaxed and playful group of Indian leopards (Panthera pardus fusca) has been voted Spotting of the Week. In India shrinking of natural habitats for leopards has resulted in an increase in human–leopard conflict situations. Yet in the hills of Jawai dozens of leopards seem to continue to live in relative harmony at proximity of human settlements.

Great spotting ! They look healthy too....
Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
