Furcifer sp
rainforest
Spotted this chameleon in the rainforest Malio parcel of Andohahela national park. I camped at a small village near the entrance of the park. To help put some money into the village, I offered a small reward to any locals that could bring me to a chameleon. Within an hour I had seen 4 different chameleons!

Thanks Jake, Carol and Karen for the fun facts. I have yet to read the blog but look forward to it when I get home.
Fun fact! A chameleon’s tongue is twice the length of its and shoots out of its mouth at more than 26 body lengths per second, the equivalent of 13.4 miles (21.6 kilometers) an hour!
