Lace Bugs are so small, they are often overlooked. Once seen, however, their beauty can never be forgotten. Much of the ornamentation is hollow and transparent, increasing the lacy effect. These were about 4 mm long. The last picture shows a Peach leaf with typical Lace Bug feeding damage. Family Tingidae.

Hey congrats Lauren. Strange little bugs... but I like them.
Congrats Lauren, great SOTD!
Congrats Lauren, your keen eyes have earned you Spotting of the Day! There are about 2,000 species of lace bugs but they are so tiny they are usually overlooked – which is a shame because as you can see they are very pretty!
