Ruddy panus, Panus rudis

Panus rudis

Description:

fuzzy and velvety like a rabbit's ear. It looks like a fuzzy oyster mushroom, gills descending much further down the stalk than an oyster, and cupped much more. Clustered all over a dead log. Very cool.

Habitat:

Clustered on a dead log

Notes:

Looked this up as Panus rudis, taking spore print right now and it's looking white.
