Nidulariaceae
Very small (pea-sized), brown, furry, open to cup-shape.
Found in the front garden growing out of the mulch.
Good luck! I would send you some links to help out, but the only mushroom sites I know of only deal with North American species.
Oh, thanks! =) While our shire council has plenty of information on local animals and plants, there's not much info on fungi. I'll head to the library to research further. Much appreciated. =)
I've narrowed down the family for you, an interesting fungus. I'm hoping to find some this summer.
