Description:

With smooth yellowish orange caps about 25 mm wide, these mushrooms were grwoing in small clumps. Caps had a small umbo which appeared slightly darker than the rest of the cap. On moist caps, the outline of the gills are seen as striations at the cap magin. Gills were a pale orange as was the part of the stipe above a flimsy orange annulus. The stipe below the ring was darker with white fibrils.

Notes:

This mushroom has several synonyms, one of them being G.unicolor. This species is included in " little brown mushroom" group with a ot of other small to medium-sized brown mushrooms. Most Galerina species are said to be poisonous.
