This looks like an orchid. The shrub grows about 8 feet tall. Pink, red and white blooms with curved stamen.
Woodlands in shade. Central Plateau in Madagascar.
This is a common location for praying mantises to wait for unsuspecting smaller visitors. The second picture is a similar shrub the other one was cut down.
