Gold Dust Day Gecko

Description:

Green gecko, about 2 inches long. Blue around eyes and brown markings on head and body.

Habitat:

Found this little guy in the garden of a B&B on the Big Island of Hawaii in the town of Kailua Kona.

Notes:

The owners would put out some jam for them at breakfast time and dozens of these geckos would emerge from the greenery to enjoy breakfast with us!

Beautifull little gecko. If I'm not wrong these are native to Madagascar so they are most likely introduced over there, might wanna check and see how they are affecting the wildlife and maybe catch some to ship back to Madagascar or to a reptile event, there are a lot of gecko hobbyist looking for that species.
