Tectoris diophtalmus
Very pretty, hanging out at the beach with me!
Okay dokey , did it... Thanks for the suggestion even though every one else can see it but I can't... I can only find that option on other people's pics????but anyways renamed the lovely fella
Well I still hav'nt found a suggested I.d but I'll put it in manually, as I can neverfind where the messages are without faffing about in my e-mail...is there a better way?
Just above the "Comments" column is the spot for people to suggest ID's.
There you'll see that I've suggested the following:
Cotton harlequin bug
Tectocoris diophthalmus
Plus, there's a link to a web page that supports my ID.
Now, what YOU need to do, is to click on "Edit this spotting", which is located right above your avatar/photo and name. Once you've done that, you can edit the fields and include the new information.
Oh I didn't get that hence the confusion!? So where does that show up?
Hi Katie, after I posted the ID suggestion "Cotton harlequin bug", I noted that it's the female of that species (as the males and females look different).
Beautiful photo..And its name is Cotton harlequin bug (Tectocoris diophthalmus)...
I've noticed lori.tas has ID'd the beautiful insect but you have yet to update the spotting. You can do this under 'edit this spotting' and add the correct common name and latin name so it will no longer be an unknown spotting.
