Nope, was driving down the road and happened to come across him. Nice little surprise. I was actually about a mile down the road from our resident nesting bald eagles, just going to watch them for a while.

This has to be one the prettiest birds in the United States, and WOW. . . what a wonderful picture! Great capture!!!
