Ardisia elliptica

Habitat:

Native to the west coast of India, Sri Lanka, Indochina, Malaysia, Indonesia and New Guinea. It is a successful invasive species in other locations in the tropics as a tropical understory shrub in hammocks and wooded areas.

Notes:

Spotted at several locations through out this park as undergrowth near the edges of the wooded area.
