Spotting

Description:

This type of lizard is able to change its color, if they are on a tree they look green and if they are in the ground they look light brown.

Habitat:

In Afghanistan everywhere in the wild this type of lizard is living but mostly in the mountain area close to lakes or rivers.

Notes:

This lizard is a fast hunter. They eat Mosquitoes and worms.

@ Dondoucette, I think it is a latin name but this name is not very common among the people of rural areas of Afghanistan, in some part of Afghanistan people call this lizard Karbash. in Jun I have a one week tour to the highlands of central Afghanistan and hope that I can take some close up pictures of this lizard.
Today I will upload some more pictures of wild plants of Afghanistan.

It's cool to see pics from Afghanistan. Aahangar, I was looking up the common name of this lizard and a lizard in the US has the same common name. Do you know it's latin name? Or do you have a close up photo to help with ID?
I want to see more pics from Afghanistan.
