Garden Croton

Codiaeum variegatum

Description:

Garden Croton variegated croton” is native to Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, southern India, and the western Pacific Ocean islands. They can grow for about 10 ft tall and has a very colorful and shiny leaves. Garden croton love warmth and humidity that is why they are difficult to please indoors. However, Garden crotons have wonderful color so they are worth the effort.

Habitat:

Tropical climate. Indoor plant. They can't survive outdoor when the temperature drop to 10° to 13°C in winter; colder temperatures can cause leaf loss

Notes:

Warning: When cutting the stems and leaves, Garden croton release a milky sap that can cause allergic reaction.
