Azaleas are flowering shrubs of the genus Rhododendron. Azaleas bloom in spring, their flowers often lasting several weeks, they come in a variety of colors.
Shade tolerant, they prefer living near or under trees.
Butterflies and Bees are attracted to the flowers.
