Snowberry Clearwing Moth

Hemaris diffinis

Description:

About the size of a large bumblebee, and easy to mistake for one. I was poking around in my flowerbed and I spotted this little guy. I wasn't able to get many good pictures. I included the last image because, while it's very motion-blurred, there's a clear view of the patterns on the wings, which are invaluable in differentiating between several Hemaris species.
