Description:

The acacia have started blooming (Spring is near?) and today these tiny flies were exploring the flowers. About 10mm long.

Habitat:

On wattle in a local nature reserve adjoining a national park.

Notes:

Patterns and markings on the abdomen might vary. This could be one of several species. M viridis is likely? family: SYRPHIDAE
