Description:

Hind wing tailless. Underside light with several dark spots. Among those spots there is one pair of spots on each wing, joined at right angles. Male dull purplish blue with thin black border, while female blackish brown with metallic blue wing bases on upper side.

Habitat:

It is found in gardens and orchards. Fluttering flight, usually close to ground. On the wing through out the year. Visits flowers, bird droppings and damp patches.
