Microlophus albemarlensis (female)
Very light coloured female, measuring around 5.5cm, excluding the tail. The orange cheek patches are very bright and spotting is more sparse and generally lighter in colour. The darker stripes on the back don't stand out.
Found on lava rocks along the Wall of Tears trail.
Lava lizards belong to the Iguanidae family, being related to Iguanas.
