Ashish, it is sort of mainstream now... even in Singapore, tourists go to big parks like McRitchie reservoir park just to see and feed the monkeys to make a couple of nice shots.

then again, in some asian places, monkeys are the reborn spirits of the dead it is considered good luck to offer them gifts.
