Notes:

Any idea as to who lives here? Found in a Park ,under trees,not on slope, at least 4 ft deep inside. diameter is greater than 3 inches. the inside of the hole is smooth,indicating a rat running in and out. This hole was in a dry spot,in the foothills of Mt Diablo.

It looks like a rat because he or she collected some tin foil and petals! Interesting photo Emma! It makes you visualize the rat!
