Stereum hirsutum

Stereum hirsutum

Description:

Pics 3 and 4 were taken 2 weeks previous to 1 and 2. The underside became a very rich yellow colour and the tops went from yellow to quite dark. On the shaded underside of an old, damp eucalyptus log. I particularly liked the concentric rings which appeared in pic 2.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve.

Notes:

Sometimes called 'Hairy Curtain Crust'
