Fast shutter speed, 1/1600 @ F11, auto ISO, 400mm, single spot AF, lots of patience and lots of attempts. You need to follow them and hope they stop and hover momentarily, then fire a burst and hope one or two come out. You end up deleting a lot but its worth the effort.
