Truncate Dalima

Dalima truncataria (Moore, [1868])

Description:

This is a large moth. Wingspan: 85mm.

Habitat:

Wildlife sanctuary with thick forest consisting of oak, bamboo, chestnut, rhododendron, etc. Cold place. Altitude: 2,400m.

Notes:

This moth was so large that I had to use my DSLR with the macro lens setting on the tripod (could not use my cell phone camera!).
