Crocodile

Crocodylus porosus

Description:

An adult male saltwater crocodile's weight is usually 600 to 1,000 kilograms and length is normally 4.1 to 5.5 metres, although mature males can be 6 metres (20 ft) or more and weigh 1,300 kilograms (2,900 lb) or larger, (from Wikipedia)

Habitat:

Found in the salwater estuaries (and out to sea) across the far north of Australia, in Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Notes:

This Croc was photographed at the Nowra Wildlife Park (well out of its natural range)
