Spotting

Description:

Picked this plant up from a friend's mother who wanted to rid of it. I initially thought the blossom on it was some sort of plastic toy that fell in the pot but to my surprise it was attached and part of the plant! It reminds me of a starfish and is really neat to look at! If I had a guess, I would say it is some sort of succulent or in the cacti family.
