Description:

These plants are poisonous to cattle and other farm animals because it contains alkaloids. They usually don´t eat it because is distasteful but it can become dangerous if mixed dried with hay because then it looses the bad taste. It has cumulative effect in the organism, damaging the liver.Is particularly dangerous to horses, pigs, cattle, but sheep and goats may eat it in small amounts to reduce intestine parasites and they benefit from it

Grasslands, prairies.
