Goatsbeard is native to this area. Native plants are NOT invasive. They provide food and habitat for native birds, insects, mammals, etc., and know how to work WITH the ecology they have evolved in, not against it.

This is so invasive in BC! I saw it along the highway many places on the weekend. Take it out of your garden if you have it!!
