Alces alces
Large brown deer. A Moose stands 1.4–2.1 m high at the shoulder. The head-and-body length is 2.4–3.2 m , with the vestigial tail adding only a further 5–12 cm. This one had some small antlers.

We specifically went on an early morning canoeing trip in the hope to spot a Moose. Lucky us. It was eating water plants. It spotted us and climbed on the side and walked back into the forest. This was the second one we saw - check out http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/674...
