Anemone about 7 cm in diameter with the crown fully extended. The column has an inverted trunk shape and has adhesive warts on top. The tentacles, up to 768, are short and are arranged in 8 cycles. The oral disc is very broad. Live on rocky or gravelly backgrounds, from which the crown of tentacles stands out. The coloration of these is very variable, brown, grayish, yellowish, etc. Live from tide pools to about 80 m. Deep, in soft and rocky bottoms. .......................................................................................................................................... Anémona de unos 7 cm de diámetro con la corona totalmente extendida. La columna tiene una forma de tronco invertido y posee verrugas adhesivas en la parte superior. Los tentáculos, hasta 768, son cortos y se disponen en 8 ciclos. El disco oral es muy amplio. Vive en fondos rocosos o de cascajo, de los que sobresale la corona de tentáculos. La coloración de estos es muy variable, pardos, grisáceos, amarillentos, etc. Vive desde pozas de marea hasta unos 80 m. De profundidad, en fondos blandos y rocosos.
