Leucophaeus atricilla
The laughing gull is a medium-sized sea gull.
It is prevalent along the Atlantic Coast of North America, the Caribbean, and in northern South America.
This specimen appeared to be a gull in its first plumage with a black beak, back legs and feet, a smudged dark cap, and dark gray wings with black tips. When older and when mating, its head cap turns completely black with a red bill.
