A large grasshopper, about 50mm in size, yellow with dark green spots.
Spotted during a day walk at KL Forest Eco Park, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, an urban park located at the middle of the city.
Schistocerca is a genus of grasshoppers, commonly called bird grasshoppers, many of which swarm as locusts. Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Arthropoda Class: Insecta Order: Orthoptera Suborder: Caelifera Family: Acrididae Genus: Schistocerca
