A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Millettia reticulata
Evergreen wisteria, which isn’t a wisteria at all, has oval leaves. It blooms when everything else in the garden is gasping in the heat. It has reddish-purple, highly fragrant, pea-like blooms in 8" grape-like clusters on an evergreen to semi-evergreen, or deciduous (depending on how cold it gets), woody, twining climber.
Wildlife habitat yard.
