I knew that this is a soldier fly but not sure on the exact specie because it's different from the other soldier flies that I took photo. The abdomen looks like from a bee or a hoverfly. With some research, this one turned out to be Stratiomys of probable badia sp.
These solider flies like to hang out in open spaces near forest/park edges and often on flowers (exactly the type of habitat in which this fly was found).
