Red-spotted Newt (Red Eft)

Notophthalmus viridescens

Notes:

The red eft is the terrestrial juvenile stage of a common green aquatic newt. On cool, humid days they come out and walk around in the woods. On some days I've spotted many dozens of them going about their business.
