Large, 2 inches creature, lovely colors was trapped between 2 glass panes, I took a couple of pictures before I released it. Last time I saw one similar I was told it was a Robber Fly?!

I am pretty sure it is a Robber Fly and a real beauty ,but I don't have an ID ,I'm afraid.
