Gonepteryx rhamni

Description:

Wingspan 50-60 mm. The male is lemon green the female is yellow white. Arched wing with sharp corner.They never settle with their wings open.G. rhamni is one of the longest lived butterflies, living up to thirteen months, although most of this time is spent in hibernation.

Habitat:

Found in a prairy.

Notes:

Around the university campus in Kortowo-Olsztyn.
