Yeah the movies exaggerate a lot!!
But all spiders are venomous and some can be agressive, as long as you know what you are doing everything will be fine!

There are poisonous and aggressive tarantulas and tarantula-like big spiders, but most of them are docile, rarely bite and make tolerable pets

ErikvandenEnde, that's nice! I guess movies about these spiders are extremely exaggeration, right? So many people keep them at home.
sttweets hahaha, that seems to be the case. But I see pictures of animals you made, I never saw. So when I was checking out the tarantula, you were taking pictures of the fennec fox :p Guess we complete each other with the Artis Zoo. People won't have to go there anymore...
