I was very lucky to spot this magnificent creature while visiting one of Florida's beautiful state parks (Highland's Hammock). My husband and I spent about 45minutes in awe of him. We both took many pictures and thanked the hawk for allowing us such a wonderful opportunity. Description obtained through personal copy of "National Geographic Field Guide to Birds-Florida"
