Sloe bug

Dolycoris baccarum

Description:

Shield bug with dark reddish brown body, segments of abdomen banded yellow and black, which are visible beyond margins of wings. Boyd length 12mm.

Habitat:

Favours areas of scrub.

Notes:

These were in a dead buddleia flower I cut down, and believe or not, there are three in the photos!
