Popular garden plant that is also edible. Herbaceous annual plant with brightly coloured flowers ranging from yellow, through oranges and red with five petals and a characteristic long nectar spur at the rear. The leaves are large and circular.

Thank you both :) These flowers bring back childhood memories for me, visiting family and an auntie that put them in salads.
