Argiope pulchella
Argiope pulchella is a species of Orb Spider belonging to the family Araneidae. It ranges from India to China and can be found on Java. It builds a web with a zig-zag stabilimentum. This species has a pentagonal opisthosoma (abdomen). This big one is most likely a Female.
Loves forest areas. You gotta watch out that you don't run into their large webs

I like these guys, even though they creeped me out a few times in Korea.
Taking detours off the forest paths, or even when you walk ON the paths, those guys are everywhere :)
