Description:

This was a medium sized bird, with grey-beige feathers. The beak is hook shaped and through the trees the eyes had a red appearance. Sorry the pictures are not better.

Jesse.. thank you very much! I looked around and it looked exactly like this one: http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/PHOTO.... I really appreciate the help identifying this bird with such poor pictures posted.

maybe a Cooper's Hawk but I can't see the belly.They have red eyes,a hooked beak and greyish feathers.I noticed also the tail feathers have the same stripes.can't say for sure
