Spotting

Habitat:

Warm grassy land with a small stream nearby.

Notes:

This is a relatively small dragonfly, about half the length of usual dranflies. I'm not sure whether it's a youngster or of a differnet genus.

Just a guess FEMALE Palpopleura sexmaculata (looks very similar to the picture in my guidebook...but only one photo from a different angle) and Google says it IS found in Sikkim. All the best for a quick ID of this BEAUTIFUL dragonfly.
