This is not a Swamp Darner. Swamp Darners have very different abdominal spots and are much larger. It is one of the mosaic darners. It is a female, likely a Shadow Darner (Aeshna umbrosa) because the mosaic spots on the abdomen are so small. A positive ID from these photos is not possible.
