Chipping Sparrow

Spizella passerina

Description:

While walking to the third hole of Schenley park's frisbee golf course, I heard this fledgling sparrow "chipping" away in the grass. It was scared at first but it stopped flapping long enough for a few shots. This little guy is a little bit bigger than a quarter!
