I used the term "farm goose" to differentiate between these and the 200 canadian geese who were surrounding them. If anyone knows the scientific name I will gladly change the title. thanks.
Domestic Greylag Goose, Anser anser domesticus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domesticate.... I always called them barnyard geese or farm geese too.
